When I saw the collection 'poupée barbie' from the French Artist Jocelyn Grivaud I could not have not put it in the blog and of course give it a Tish. 


Barbie Tish is not the only fantastic model and muse of our times, as you can see above, Jocelyn has picked some of her favourite pieces of art and recreated them with Barbie.


Some of them are absolutely great and she has picked some of my favourite artists as well.. So big Tish.


If you go on her website, you will find one or two more of her Barbie works.  However, I did not like them as much so didn't include them here... To put Barbie Avatar in the middle of all this pieces of art was a bit random in my opinion!

Tish to human prints!

If your eyes are good you will have noticed that in each of the pictures above a body, or part of it, is painted as the background and is almost unnoticeable!!!
This artist is Cecilia Paredes, a peruvian woman who's now living in the U.S.
She is the one in each of the pictures... Yes, it is a bit weird, and some people may think it's a big waist of time... I agree but now that its done and I like it.
The prints she has chosen are very interesting as well.

Little Pish for Karl...

This is the day when Karl finally meet the normal people (affordable clothes?!). They are nice, but when I look at them I think they look cheap. . .very cheap.  I know that this is the public collection and therefore is cheaper, as the products they are made from are cheaper, but apart for the collars and few tops nothing really stands out.


Net-a-porter.com did an amazing marketing campaign behind this line and it won't surprise me if everything is sold out in the few next days, but I think it will sell out because of Karl, and only because of the clothes.


I love Karl, but I was expecting more. It is maybe because of this that I will sadly give it a Pish... 


I will say though, that I saw the collection in person and the pictures do not do it justice.

Tish for the explosive pictures of Alan Sailer!!

Today I found another crazy photographer, Alan Sailer! 

Alan shoots an object with a pellet gun and uses a normal camera and home-made microsecond flash to record the fallout.

I absolutely love these pictures. Are they not fascinating??? So stong!

Please google him as there are many more to see.  The series above is about food. Try searching for the Christmas one where he has filled Christmas balls with Jelly... Super mega Tish!!

Also in my opinion is much cooler to shoot food than people!!!
