First and hopefully last Pish for Chanel.

Unfortunately they are not fake Chinese trainers, but real Spring/summer 2012 Chanel!!! I do not know what happened in the Chanel Studio that day. I have a couple of ideas in mind though;  Someone took too many drugs or maybe the designer thought they were working for New Balance!!!

Of course mistakes can happen, even to Chanel.  We can only hope that the designer of these shoes will continue his work somewhere else and that Karl will look a bit more carefully next time before to say yes!  We can forgive him though as I guess he is more occupied by his own brand at the moment.  Which will be sold by Net-a-porter.com at the end of January!!!

It also goes without saying that $950 is a big price to pay for a pair of neon trainers to wear to the gym or to keep in the wardrobe.

Pish to Jimmy's coffee break accessories!

WOOOOOOOOOW really huge WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW for Jimmy Choo for the stupidest way to waste money… Buy a leather coffee cup sleeve for £ 95.

You can have a free and recycled one in your favourite coffee shop or you can buy one, look stupid with it and throw it in the rubbish by mistake!

Pish to the $203,150 Birkin.

This is the bag that sold for $203,150 … Yes I repeat $203,150!!

It was bought at an auction in Dallas by an anonymous buyer ( I guess he wants to stay anonymous because he is ashamed, he should be!!) .

I love bags, I love birkins but I think there is a moment in our life that we have to ask ourselves IS THIS RIGHT? IS THIS A JOKE??

I won’t give you the little speech people are dying, people don’t have roof, people are losing all their money… No I will not say that as you should know that!!  I will tell you a story instead, years ago there was a nice little girl a bit silly, and one day she was eating a delicious ice-cream, at some point she took a break as the Ice cream was huge and she put  the ice cream next to her, laughing around the little girl didn’t realise that the ice-cream had fallen down, she looked and BAM the Ice cream inside and all over a crocodile Birkin bag.. Oops! The little girl at that age didn’t know how much that bag was... but her dad yes!!! He was really embarrassed, luckily for the parents of the little girl the owner of the bag wasn’t upset at all.. of course now this little girl’s grown up and would love a Birkin but she would also love to poop in the $203,150 Birkin bag of the anonymous buyer!

And by the way worst Birkin I have ever seen!

Tish to Christiane Wöhler.

Today, browsing the internet I found these pictures (the last two) and I thought that they were really powerfull.I searched for the photographer and I discovered more.  I didn't discover much about Christiane.  She is German and has done a few exhibitions.  She has also done some editorial shoots however in my opinion I do not think they are as good.In any case, a big tish for this photographer and her talent!!!

Tish... Wrapping Paper - Burger Style!

We love gifts and we love burgers, so we therefore love burger wrapping paper! I can already see Christmas morning with plenty of mini and maxi burgers under my tree.  I agree it's not very christmassy and one more thing to remind us of capitalism, however you must admit that it will make your gifts delicious! 

(Our favourite is Byron Burger of course... it is so good that it makes you cry the moment you have the first bite!)

Unfortunately this Wrapping paper doesn't exist yet, I found it on www.kickstarter.com (The world's largest funding platform for creative projects) so this project will only be funded if at least $7,900 is pledged by Sunday 1st January.

Tish the the Online Fashion week

So here we are with only a few hours left before the begining of the Online Fashion Week on Vogue.co.uk.  Be ready as this will be nothing in comparison to the recent Black Friday... Black Monday is arriving and to get something online might be difficult but we can do it. All those hours of online shopping will finally be worth it!

Pish to Kanaloa!

"6.30PM, so let's have few drinks and a nice relaxing dinner," ... Do not go to Kanaloa!!! This is my advice!

I entered was greeted by the smell of air freshener and some nice girls dressed in Hawaiian costumes who gave me a flower neckless.  So far, so good ? Wrong! From that moment I could not hear a word that anyone was saying just awful music that involved Michael Jackson... Surrounded by drunk city boys dancing (move weirdly) with huge cocktails in their hands... Bearing in mind it is still 6.32PM... After a few drinks and trying to shout and conduct a conversation by sign language, the food arrived.  The food wasn't bad but wasn't good either.  I decided to eat in silence as I am not great at sign language and using chop sticks at the same time.  At this point my only goal was to leave 'Hawaii' and get back to rainy city... Mission accomplished by 9pm when I relocated myself in a nice, relaxing, smelly old pub!

So Pish to Kanaloa as it is not a restaurant but a cocktail bar. I will say though that if you go there at the weekend (without the city boys) after having dinner (in a nice restaurant) it could be a good experience but please do not call that place a restaurant as it is not!!!

Pish to HIV awareness!

 

So today I think it is only normal to Pish HIV as it’s HIV day and an estimated 33.3 million live with the illness.

Almost  100,000 people are living with HIV in the UK but a quarter of them are unaware that they have the disease… I guess maybe it is time for you to do the test... It’s free and quite usefull!

Here are some retailers that got involved to help the war againstthis desease:

-          Isabel Marant For GAP red, I aready wrote about it. The T-shirt is now Sold out on-line but you can phone a store to ask about their availability.

-          A|X Armani Exchange has partnered with dance4life, a nonprofit organization that educates young people about HIV through dance, and model Doutzen Kroes is to release an exclusive T-shirt.  The shirt features a photo of Kroes with the words "Dance-Dance-Dance". The shirt is  available in all A|X stores and online at Armaniexchange.com. All profits from the shirt will go to support dance4life education initiatives and related programs.

-          Nike has come out with a Nike RED World AIDS Day collection. The collection will be available at select stores starting Dec. 1 and online at: http://nikestadiums.com/.

-          Fidelity Denim ( I do not know them but they sound nice) have designed a special edition of its signature Ace Skinny jean in bright red. The jeans are available on the website with 100% of the profits going to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. And everyone needs  Red jeans in their cupboard!!

Finally I remind the Pisher people that condoms can be found EVERYWHERE… So get some!!
